FreeRTOS NXP Implementation

FreeRTOS is an open-source real-time operating system (RTOS) for microcontrollers. It provides task scheduling, memory management, and a rich ecosystem of libraries for networking, security, and cloud connectivity. FreeRTOS is widely used in embedded systems where deterministic timing and a small memory footprint are essential.

NXP has implemented KNX IoT Point API examples on FreeRTOS targeting the RW612 microcontroller. NXP develops and maintains this port through their Application Code Hub.
